2014 Emmy Nominations Announced

This year’s Primetime Emmy nominations have been announced! Some usual suspects highlight the list, including Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, and Modern Family, while Netflix has emerged as a serious player in the television industry receiving nominations for hit series such as House of Cards and Orange Is the New Black.

Entering its 66th year, the annual Primetime Emmy Awards show will air on August 25th on NBC, hosted by Saturday Night alum Seth Meyers. This year’s awards ceremony was pushed up from its normal slot in September, due to scheduling conflicts with NBC’s Sunday Night Football.
