And we are pumped!

[dropcap size=small]I[/dropcap]t was recently announced that the current gen consoles, Xbox One and PS4, will be receiving Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 & 2. It had been heavily rumored that the games would be re-released but there had been no confirmation until recently.

The games will be coming to PS4 and PC tomorrow, July 26, and will be released later this week on Xbox One. The games can be bought either as a bundle or separately and will include most of the DLC. There is no word on the price yet but it has been confirmed that the games will support multiplayer so you can team up with your friends and create your own Avengers team.

The re-release of the games comes at a great time. Many classic games are getting the remaster or re-release treatment and with Marvel being at an all-time high, now seems like a perfect to strike while the iron is hot. The games can help tide over fans until the release of more movies and can help familiarize new fans to some of the characters that may be more unknown, i.e. Doctor Strange, Iron Fist, and Luke Cage. Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 also follows the Civil War storyline, the same one as Captain America: Civil War, so fans can now pick a side and join the fight.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 & 2 are a welcome sight to both old and new players as it will give all comic book fans one of the more critically acclaimed game series to play through again.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 & 2 will be available July 26 on PS4 and PC and will be released later in the week for Xbox One.
