Wait, what? Assassin’s Creed Rogue? For those of you whose heads are spinning from all the news coming out of Ubisoft, here’s a quick breakdown. Assassin’s Creed Rogue follows the story of Shay Patrick Cormac an apparent Assassin defector and de facto Templar who’s ultimate goal is following his own creed which leads him to hunting down his former assassin brothers. The game will take place in front of a distinctly arctic backdrop and is said to tie into the Kenway storyline which began in Assassin’s Creed 3 and was spectacularly expounded upon in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag.
In a leaked trailer that has since been redacted from all corners of the internet, the current Assassin’s Creed Rogue release date is November 11th. This is a bold move by Ubisoft due to the fact Assassin’s Creed Unity has a release date set for October 28th. Will the release date of one cause the sales of the other to suffer?
