Something that most wouldn’t know about Cranston is that he also voiced some of the villains in the early 90’s show.
Cranston on his portrayal of Zordon: “It’s motion capture, and it’s a lot of CGI-work,”
In the original show back in 1993, Zordon tells the Power Rangers that he’s been trapped in a time-warp by Rita Repulsa (played by Elizabeth Banks in the reboot). So could there be a chance that there will be more insight to how this happens?
“The tenant of that storyline is that this a real person who is trapped in this etherworld and it becomes this in-the-wall so to speak of [the command center],” said Cranston. “He still has a heart and mind, but an agenda that he’s got to get these five Power Rangers to defend the earth or else everyone they know will be killed.”
I’ve always been a huge fan of Cranston’s work, especially in Breaking Bad. So I’m excited to see what his voice will sound like in the movie. This move looks like it has a lot of potential, so I’m looking forward to it’s release!
