The bandicoot is back and better than ever.

After making a triumphant return during the Sony conference at E3 2016, we finally have more details on the upcoming remaster/remake of the first three Crash Bandicoot games, now called Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy.

First, check out the new trailer below.

In a PlayStation Blog post from developer Vicarious Visions, we also got a handful of new screenshots and details about the collection.

The title features the classic PS1 games Crash Bandicoot, Cortex Strikes Back, and Wrapped. As game director Dan Tanguay puts it, this collection is a “remaster plus,” meaning these are basically the same games from Naughty Dog, but now with HD visuals and new features.

These features include rebuilt character models and environments, a unified checkpoint and save game system, new menu screens, and Time Trials in all three games.

It looks like Vicarious Visions clearly loves classic Crash and is putting a lot of effort into this remaster, so we can’t wait to experience these titles in glorious HD.

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy hits the PS4 in 2017.
