Daniel Craig Wants to Do Another Bond Film

Daniel Craig may return for a fifth James Bond film, despite reports he was ready to quit the franchise.

[dropcap size=small]T[/dropcap]here’s been a lot of talk recently about who will replace Daniel Craig as James Bond. Idris Elba was the initial favourite to become the first black Bond, but a recent wave of support for Tom Hardy saw the Legend star’s odds cut in half. This week, a source close to the Sunday Mirror suggested that Homeland star Damian Lewis has been given the ‘unofficial nod’ by producers to take over from Craig.

The rumours began circulating back when Craig told Esquire that he couldn’t see himself doing another Bond film after next month’s Spectre, but now it seems Craig has done a U-turn, and he has told the Mail on Sunday that he is ready to see out his contract.

‘I do work myself to death. It’s getting harder, but such is life. I’ll keep going as long as I’m physically able.’

Hey, Damian Lewis – wait your turn.

Spectre opens on October 26th in the UK.
