Scott Glenn will reprise his role as Daredevil’s blind mentor for the second season of the show.
[dropcap size=small]E[/dropcap]arlier this week, Marvel announced that Scott Glenn will be back in Daredevil season 2 as Matt Murdock/Daredevil’s blind mentor Stick.
Stick was an early mentor to Daredevil when he first began to fight crime and encouraged him to break ties with those close to him and to accept that he would need to kill to be a hero. All of this then led to an amazing fight between the two.
Although Glenn only appeared in one episode last season, he will be reportedly be featured in at least three episodes in season 2.
Marvel’s head of television and Daredevil executive producer Jeph Loeb commented saying, “After seeing Scott’s performance in the first season, we knew that we had to bring him back for more. He is an extraordinary actor and we leapt at the chance to expand on his adventures with Matt and Daredevil.”
Daredevil Season 2 premieres on Netflix in 2016.
