Are Saiyans too over-powered for Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros Brawl? Yes, the answer is yes they are.
Modders have a lot of free time on their hands, though that is not a criticism. Without the modding community, we would not have such things as Thomas the Tank Engine as a Dragon in Skyrim, or civilians in GTA V as monkeys. Though the introduction of the Z Fighters into Super Smash Bros Brawl might just be the addition Dragon Ball fans have been looking for; assuming you have the means to play Brawl, that is.

YouTuber InD Mark-2 is the one behind the videos, and presumably the mods as well. The character styles, as you can see in the video above, are quite good for being in such an earlier installment in the Smash franchise.
The game’s mod roster includes Broly, Cell, Frieza, Goku, Gohan, Majin Buu, Trunks, Vegeta, and Gotenks. And while the characters themselves look great, all things considered, they are in no way perfect, but they are pretty close. The attacks and character models are a little rough around the edges here and there, but considering the mods were built from the ground-up for free, and how well they were implemented in the game, we are just happy they made it in at all, let alone on this level of high-quality.
DBZ character models were simply not enough, as the modders behind this excellent work also managed to implement the original Japanese voice cast as well, proving once and for all that Goku and Vegeta belong in Smash Bros… Okay, maybe not going that far, but at least it provides a level of authenticity we never assumed would happen within the beat-em up franchise.
