Grab your sword and start swinging on February 9.
Ubisoft’s upcoming online fighting game For Honor is getting an open beta, and it’s starting very soon.
The beta will run from February 9-12 on PC, Xbox One, PS4. It can be downloaded on each platform’s respective online distribution service (Steam, Xbox Marketplace, PSN).
Four modes will be available to play during the beta. They are Elimination, Dominion, Brawl, and Duel. Nine heroes can be played, with a total of 12 available when the game officially launches.
Set in a Medieval fantasy world, For Honor pits knights, samurai’s, and viking as they clash, well, for honor. Combat is melee focused with an emphasis on dueling opponents in one v one sword (or axe) battles.
We haven’t put together a list of our most anticipated games of 2017, but For Honor is definitely one of them. A new AAA IP in the video game industry is (usually) always welcome, and the intense samurai v viking battles awaiting us is very hype.
For Honor officially releases on February 14 for PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
