From the video game screen to the big screen, Firewatch is getting a film.

The Firewatch developers at Campo Santo have recently revealed via The Hollywood Reporter that they will be developing their indie game production into a film. The game follows a Shoshone National Forest fire lookout named Henry, who, following the 1988 Yellowstone fire, begins to experience some rather mysterious events. The video game is a mystery/adventure platform that follows Henry and his supervisor, Delilah.

The game received some good publicity earlier this year, especially for its rather distinct soundtrack. Mad Men’s Rich Sommer voices the main character in the video game, but no cast or release date information has been released for the potential film adaptation. The video game is currently on the PS4, Xbox One, and the PC with updates to the game still being released. Many fans of the indie game are curious to see what this supposed movie will have in store, but for now they must eagerly wait for more information.
