The Nintendo Switch will be one of the most exciting consoles ever to be released. The main reason will be because of it’s versatility to be played inside your house or outside for your entertainment. Although the Switch won’t be backwards compatible for Wii games, games that were popular for the Wii will most likely be made for the Switch at some point. Instead of discs, the Switch uses a proprietary cartridge to carry their games. The 3DS will not be backwards compatible either due to having a different type of cartridge from the Switch.

Even with the Switch not being backwards compatible, it looks like it will still be very successful and it’s uniqueness will be a big reason it draws in a huge fanbase. So if I’m keeping count, we have exactly 36 days until the Switch is released. With the Switch’s release date and the first 10 games’ release dates known, our watch begins.

The Nintendo Switch is set to be released to stores on Friday, March 3rd!
