Fans of Sucker Punch’s inFAMOUS Second Son are in for a treat, as it has been announced it’s getting a spinoff. This time players will take control of Abigail “Fetch” Walker, the Neon-Powered Conduit with a dark and troubled past.
Jason Connell, one of the game’s creative leads, shared via PlayStation’s Blog that players will experience new areas like the high alpine prison known as Cardun Cay, and the snowy moutons that surround it. New abilities will be unique to Fetch’s character and personality promising a fresh new style to a familiar power that fans have learned to love through Delsin Rowe of Second Son, a game we reviewed here

From the sounds of the description surrounding the announcement, this will be a game that focuses on Fetch’s past while still being a standalone game taking place after the events of inFAMOUS Second Son, though we aren’t entirely sure on that just yet. One thing is for sure, however- we can’t wait to play it.
In the meantime while we are awaiting for the game’s release in August (available via download as a standalone game from PSN), fans will have enough DLC on their plate for Second Son to tidy them over.
inFAMOUS First Light will be available for download as a standalone game via PSN sometime this August. The game is being developed by Sucker Punch and published through Sony Entertainment.
