One of Marvel’s most popular anti-heroes could be getting his own show.

[dropcap size=small]N[/dropcap]etflix’s Daredevil was an immense success for the company. In fact, the success of the show is so big that the company is reportedly asking Marvel for rights to several other famous superheroes to add to it’s arsenal. As we all know by now, the Punisher is on track to be getting his own series so it makes since that Netflix is seeking out other popular heroes. With Twentieth Century Fox holding the rights to anti-hero Deadpool it seems that Netflix may have set their sights on another anti-hero, Moon Knight.

This latest rumor comes from Heroic Hollywood editor Umberto Gonzalez, who was going over several unannounced future projects that could be planned for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Right now, many Marvel fans are curious to see what direction Marvel plans on taking its MCU in following Phase 3’s Infinity War part 2. That being said, it isn’t too much of a stretch to think that Marvel would want to start introducing several of its many popular characters via Netflix.

“Moon Knight is not actually being developed for film,” explained Umberto Gonzalez. “The rumor is that Moon Knight is actually being developed for Netflix.”

Personally, I’m all for a Netflix original series following the life of mercenary Marc Spector, aka Moon Knight. It would be a great way for Marvel to introduced many people to the rest of its not-so-popular superheroes. Still, at this point its a rumor and we can only take it as that, a rumor.
