It has been released that The Punisher, played by John Bernthal, will be the villain of season two of Daredevil .
[dropcap size=small]A[/dropcap]fter a very successful first season on Netflix, Marvel has decided to obviously continue with a second season of the critically acclaimed show, Daredevil. Starring Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, the new TV series contained 13 episodes in its premier season in April of 2015.
It was almost immediately announced that the show would get a second season that is predicted to release on Netflix in 2016. However, recent news has revealed that Jon Bernthal of The Walking Dead, would be playing The Punisher in the second season of Daredevil. It has been stated that The Punisher would not be a friend of Daredevils, and that he would be playing the villain of Daredevil in the upcoming season. Being an antihero, The Punisher doesn’t exactly play by the rules while Daredevil has a little more of a “moral” way of doing things. It will be interesting to see whether or not the two will end up working together or fighting against each other despite the two of them being well-known vigilantes.
