On July 28th, Playstation and Naughty Dog will be presenting “Last of Us: One Night Live”, a reading of select scenes from the critically acclaimed game, live from the Broad Stage in Santa Monica, CA . This night serves to further the idea of games as art.
Last of Us is exemplary of how far storytelling can be taken in a video game, and does it beautifully. Principle actors Troy Baker, Ashley Johnson, Merle Dandridge, Hana Hayes, and Anna Wersching will be reprising their roles for the reading. The game’s Academy Award winning composer, Gustavo Santaololla will also be present, performing selections from the game’s score.
Tickets for the event are all sold out, but the event can be viewed live Monday, July 28th at 7pm Pacific Time. Fans can catch the event on Twitch, YouTube, and Playstation
