Schreiber teases Sabretooth’s return, directly addresses Old Man Logan rumours.

[dropcap size=small]L[/dropcap]iev Schreiber’s Victor Creed was last seen in 2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine, but Hugh Jackman said back in August that fans want to see Wolverine take on Sabretooth one last time in 2017’s untitled Wolverine 3. The film will be Jackman’s last as Wolverine, and Schreiber seems to be doing everything he can to be a part of it.

In response to Jackman tweeting a photo of himself working out, Schreiber replied, ‘Do I have to do that?’, which left fans wondering whether he meant he would be buffing up for the film. Schreiber then went on Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show to discuss the rumours. ‘I was really jusy saying is that something I have to do as I get older. Is that how I approach middle age?’ he said of the tweet.

Schreiber also said he doesn’t know if he’s been invited back for the sequel, but he potentially revealed some details on the storyline, which makes us think he’s at least in talks to return; ‘I heard that the storyline is Old Man Logan, and when I heard that I thought, ‘there’s an Old Man Logan, there could be Old Man Sabretooth.”

Wolverine 3 is scheduled for a March 3rd, 2017 release.
