Even Bilbo is joining the Civil War!

[dropcap=small]M[/dropcap]artin Freeman had been one of the more interesting cast choices for Captain America: Civil War. Finally we know who he is going to be. Freeman will be taking on the role of Everett Ross. In the comic books Ross works for the U.S. Government in Wakanda. This tie suggests that Freeman will also be in the Black Panther standalone film. Everett Ross will be part of the Joint Counter Terrorist Centre in Civil War. Without SHIELD in the picture the Joint Counter Terrorist Centre will be the one’s in control of policing the world and trying to control Steve Rogers, Chris Evans, and Bucky Barnes, Sebastian Stan.

This picture shows Ross and Sharon Carter, Emily VanCamp, in character. The German police behind Ross and Carter are there for more than show. Co-director Joe Russo said that the film will return to Germany to bring the Captain America story “full-circle.” It will be interesting to see how this dynamic impacts Rogers in the film.

Captain America: Civil War releases in theaters on May 6, 2016.
