Hideo Kojami has announced that he will be partnering with Sony to create a brand new franchise.

[dropcap size=small]R[/dropcap]umors began circulating on the internet several days ago about how Hideo Kojami had supposedly had a falling out with Konami. Following these rumors, Playstation’s YouTube account uploaded a video which can be viewed below where the CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment Andrew House announced their partnership with the Metal Gear Solid creator.

While no physical contract has been presented showing just how long Hideo Kojami will be working with Sony, he did release a statement via Twitter letting his fans know that he will be working on creating new content for as long as he lives. So it may be safe to assume that Hideo Kojami has a life long contract with Sony Computer Entertainment? That means quite a lot of great games will be released via Sony.

Hideo Kojami’s new studio is now known as Kojima Productions and in case any of you were wondering, yes, Hideo Kojami’s next game will be only available on the Playstation 4. If you take Hideo Kojami’s past ideas and games into account then you can be sure that his next franchise will be hopefully as ground breaking as the Metal Gear Solid franchise.
