If the trailer for the live-action version of Fullmetal Alchemist didn’t get you hyped this photo will.

[dropcap size=small]T[/dropcap]he last time a popular anime was turned into a live-action film the project ended in disaster. The live-action version of Attack on Titan was a massive disappointment and because of this fans of popular animes are wary. Luckily, it appears that Warner Bros. Japan has learned from that mistake and is spending an arm and a leg on CGI to make sure Alphonse Elric looks as realistic as possible.

Fullmetal Alchemist Live-Action was announced back in the beginning of May last year and as of right now there are no plans of bringing the film to theaters in the United States. Nonetheless, considering that the live-action Rurouni Kenshin films were released in the United States on Blu-ray we can hope that Fullmetal Alchemist Live-Action will follow suit in that regard.
