Welcome to the world of Pirates Sir Paul McCartney!
An almost wrapped up project, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, has gone back to shoot a large scene, rumored to be centered around Paul McCartney. Up until this point there had been no knowledge of McCartney’s involvement on the project. His role in the film has not yet been revealed, but the scene being shot is not a re-shoot but in fact a new extra scene to be added to the film.
This is not the first time the Pirates team has obtained someone influential from the British Invasion. In Previous installments Keith Richards, guitarist from the Rolling Stones, played Jack Sparrow’s father Captain Teague in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. Depp always claimed that the mannerisms Sparrow did were inspired by Richards.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales will feature returning titans of the series Johnny Depp, Geoffrey Rush, and returning as Will Turner is Orlando Bloom. Some newcomers will be joining the cast such as Brenton Thwaites and Kaya Scodelario playing new
characters, as well as Javier Bardem as Captain Salzar.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales will be released May 26th, 2017.
