Razor Reveals “Ultimate Ultrabook” Razer Blade Stealth

Razor has quite the game changer.

This week at the annual Las Vegas technology trade show, Razer announced a new laptop. Its called the Razer Blade Stealth, and there’s a solid amount of hype around it, being described as the “ultimate ultrabook” and may “disrupt the PC industry”.

Razer is talking up its “direct-to-consumer” tactic. The idea is that the models will be sold with the highest specs on the market for less, instead of having to buy the shell of a computer and then having to upgrade its parts to make it top of the line.

Razer said this in Vegas:

“Razer is also planning on disrupting the entire PC industry with an innovative new direct-to-consumer model that allows the new Razer Blade Stealth to be sold with premium configurations, but at a lower price point relative to the competition”

The plan is to release two different models, with the big difference between the two being their screen resolution. One will have a 4K touch enabled display, while the second will have a “Quad HD” display that can sport a 2560 x 1440 resolution touch enabled display. All models will include an i7 processor with 8 GB of dual-channel memory. More impressive is it will have an external desktop graphics enclosure, the Razer Core, with the ability to run even the most extreme graphics cards.

The idea of the Razer Blade Stealth seems to be focused around people who don’t have the time, the money, or the knowledge to put together a massive PC that can run all of today’s games. Razer is now making it easy for just about anyone to join into the PC gaming world with accommodations for use other than just games. The perfect hybrid between the two worlds. For those who were always on the fence about building a PC and having to maintenance it all the time, Razer is definitely trying to reach out to you.
