The difference between the first boss fight in the original FF7 and the remake is massive.

[dropcap size=small]T[/dropcap]etsuya Nomura, the director of Final Fantasy VII Remake, released a screenshot showcasing the first major boss fight that you encounter in the game at this year’s Magic Monaco 2017 event and needless to say it is pleasantly impressive. You can check out a slideshow below giving you an idea of what it used to look like and what it looks like now.

What is great about this screenshot is that it gives us a fairly good idea of what the game’s battle interface will likely look like when the game is released. It seems that the battle interface is similar to that of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII’s but the slightly confusing part is why there is a slot for both magic and materia. Both of these are supposed to be the same thing, at least in the original game. However, Final Fantasy VII Remake hasn’t been released yet and so Square Enix Holdings could change this before the game is released.

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and is widely regarded as a bad move.
