*Spoiler Alert!* Kit Harington Talks About His ‘Game Of Thrones’ Future

Jon Snow may know something after all.

[dropcap size=small]I[/dropcap]f you’re behind on Game Of Thrones then leave immediately, because Kit Harington has made some statements in an interview that could potentially lift the lid on some Game of Thrones speculation about Jon Snow.

Seriously, if you’re behind, why are you still here? Are you sure you want to risk it?

Okay, I did warn you. If you continue on this path you can no longer blame me for spoiling anything. Got it?

You only have yourself to blame.

Okay, for all you folks sticking around, let’s get to it.

In the fifth season of Game of Thrones we saw our favourite crow, Jon Snow, meet a rather nasty end at the hands of his fellow members of the Night’s Watch. After, theories emerged that this would not be the last we’d see of Snow. Now, I’m not going to get into this theory too much, because I don’t want to ruin everything – and you most probably have an inkling if you’ve seen the series, or if you’ve read the books – but through certain circumstances to do with winter, Jon Snow might make a comeback.

This theory has gotten some footing because Harington has kept his curly locks, and fans have been eager to connect this to the theory to give it some more credibility. He might just love that haircut – he looks good after all – but you’ve got to admit, he still looks like he could easily slip back into being Snow in a heartbeat.

In a recent interview with the Belgian Dutch-Language site, Humo, – which was translated by a Redditor – Harington was discussing his upcoming film Testament of Youth, and, of course, his future with Game of Thrones came up. What Harington let slip indicates that his time with Game of Thrones is certainly not over yet.

‘I often felt frustrated as well. I had to pass on amazing parts because I was attached to Game of Thrones. So the show is like a double-egded sword to me: I owe a lot to it, but at the same time it has almost completely drained me. Oh well, I try not to think about it too much. The important thing is that I now know exactly how long I am still under contract’

‘I am still under contract’ being the first piece of evidence that adds credence to the rumour that he’ll be returning.

After the interviewer prodded him by asking how many seasons he was under contract for, he then went on to hammer in the fact even more.

Nice try (laughs). I can’t talk about that. Let’s just say that Game of Thrones will remain a part of my life for a while, I’ll probably be in my thirties when it’s over. One thing’s for sure: the day I’m no longer on Thrones is the day I’ll bury myself in movie projects (laughs).

So there you have it. Game of Thrones is still a part of Kit Harington’s life for the foreseeable future. Looks like this won’t be the last we’ll see of Jon Snow, and it’s probably likely that we’ll be seeing him again in season 6.

Season 6 of Game of Thrones is rumoured to air in April, 2016.
