Star Wars fans will be in for a treat AT-AT Disneyland.

Construction for ‘Star Wars Land’ is now well and truly underway. The upcoming Disneyland Star Wars-themed attraction, which will take visitors to a galaxy far, far away, is possibly one of the most exciting additions to the famous theme park in quite some time.

The park is set to be 14-acres long, and given the sheer scale of the attraction, we just know it’s going to be quite a ride for Star Wars fans.

Recently, photos emerged on the site MiceChat of the attraction’s construction, and one image, in particular, garnered a lot of excitement. Check it out below:

Given the shape and colouring of the what they appear to be building in the above image, many speculated that they were the perfect framework for the iconic armoured transport and combat vehicles we know as AT-ATs.

A full-scale AT-AT? It’s enough to get any Star Wars fan drooling. Can you just imagine it?

Well, you don’t have to leave it up to your imagination because it’s officially happening! Disney Parks have confirmed that two AT-ATs will be on display at ‘Star Wars Land’ thanks to the below video they just released. In it, we’re shown a glimpse of the construction progress of the two grey giants we’ll hopefully be meeting someday when the attraction opens.

The artistic imaginings of the what the park will look like upon completion are enough to send any fan into hyperspace with excitement, and now with the addition of AT-ATs, we can’t wait to see what this park will look like when it’s finished.

‘Star Wars Land’ is said to open sometime in 2019 at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, and Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
