CryptFire – Encryption made easy :: Add-ons for Firefox.

Need to encrypt a secret message to someone, or send passwords to someone via email? Picture 1
Now you can do this quite easily using the CryptFire add-on for firefox, just highlight some text, right-click choose encrypt with link, select a password and your done. Give your buddy the link Brand Viagra and send the password in a separate email or via IM or twitter.

You could also just encrypt the text and email it to them, where they can select the encrypted text, right-click and decrypt.

There is also an option to Encrypt as text which scambles your message into a bunch of random text.

If you use Safari for your browsing pleasure, then you can simply go the the CryptFire decrypt page and decrypt the text.

CryptFire decrypts and encrypts your Text with the military grade AES encryption algorithm using a Javascript Library.
All encryption is done on your computer, not on a remote server, so your text is as safe as your password.
