SEEEEE-GGGGAAAAAA! Company keeping quiet about removal of games from app stores.

[dropcap size=small]S[/dropcap]ay goodbye to some of SEGA‘s older mobile games, the company is slowly removing titles, from the iOS and Android app stores, that no longer “meet their standards.” As stated on SEGA’s official blog:

“It is important for us to ensure that all of our fans, regardless of platform or operating system, have a great playing experience and after evaluating our complete list of titles, we have determined that a number of them no longer meet our standards.”

Do you even HAVE standards, SEGA? Look at Sonic!

Sorry, that was a bit harsh, but I’m still upset that we haven’t gotten Sonic Adventure 3… yet. They’ve confirmed that you will be able to re-download, or continue playing, said (or un-said) titles once they have been removed — the cloud’s silver lining. SEGA has also confirmed that some titles may return in an updated form.
