This Week at the Trailer Park

It is all fantasy and action this week at the Park.

Warcraft

All Warcraft fanboys, rejoice! The trailer for the movie based on the hit RTS has finally hit the web. Warcraft follows the story of the Orcs who flee their dying world of Draenor through the Dark Portal and end up in Azeroth. The only problem is that there are already humans in Azeroth and the Orcs are not known to play nice with each other. With both races on the brink of destruction, it is up to the human Anduin Lothar and orc Durotan to try and prevent all out war and save their people. The action in the trailer looks incredible but has received mixed reviews from the public so far. Personally, I’m hoping this movie does well enough to get a sequel. Because we all know what the sequel means.

Bring on the Lich King.

Warcraft stars Travis Fimmel, Paula Patton, Ben Foster, Dominic Cooper, Toby Kebbell, Ben Schnetzer, and Robert Kazinsky and hits theaters June 10th, 2016.

Alice Through the Looking Glass

Alice Through the Looking Glass is the sequel to 2010’s Alice in Wonderland. Alice must go back into Wonderland to save it from the Lord of Time. Time wants to turn forward the clock to turn Wonderland into a barren, desolate waste land. Alice must journey to find a magical scepter to stop Time and save Wonderland. Oh, and the Mad Hatter needs to be saved. And the Red Queen is back and looking to stir up some trouble.

Alice Through the Looking Glass stars Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway, Mia Wasikowska, Helena Bonham Carter, and Sacha Baron Cohen and releases May 27th, 2016.

American Hero

American Hero looks like a cross between Hancock and Chronicle and it looks like we are getting the best of both movies rolled into one. American Hero follows Melvin, a man born with the ability to move objects with his mind but does not do anything with this power. Most of his life revolved around alcohol, drugs, and women until a near death experience changed his way of thinking. Armed with a new found sense of heroism, Melvin embarks on a quest to become a superhero but gets more then he bargained for when he inadvertently starts a gang war.

American Hero stars Stephen Dorff, Eddie Griffin, and Andrea Cohen and hits theaters December 11.
