Pro-skateboarders Tony Hawk and Rob Wootton have teased the next installment of Hawk’s legendary skateboarding games via a clever Instagram video.
[dropcap size=small]W[/dropcap]ootton acts out a live version of the “character select” menu from the Tony Hawk Pro Skater video games, showing himself in different outfits and poses in the same, awkward fashion as the games.
The video, which is title “Select your character (by @rob.wootton),” is captioned by Hawk, stating “I am sharing this now in honor of our next game having been accidentally ‘leaked’ recently…THPS fans will rejoice. Details soon.”
Hawk references a leak in the caption, which according to Polygon, is referring to a promotional event for the game hosted earlier this month, where a caterer inside the venue released a photo that revealed the new game would be titled Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 (big surprise).
The game is currently in development for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and is expected to be released later this year. Tony Hawk has promised more details will be released soon.
